At Face Value Dental, we offer a variety of prosthetic solutions for you to choose from. Depending on your specific needs, you can select from our range of full, partial or implant-retained dentures. You have the further option of choosing between a fixed or removable type of denture.
Dentures are replacements for missing teeth and tissue. These prosthetic devices are more commonly removable, however more recently, patients are able to get dentures that are fixed to the jaw line through implants, known as implant retained dentures. Dentures treatment are available with Mr Alan Chappell.
Commonly referred to as false teeth, dentures are prosthetic teeth designed to replace missing or diseased teeth. Your Brisbane CBD dentist can customise a denture to fit snugly in your mouth cavity. Just like your natural teeth, dentures provide support to your lips and cheeks while helping you to chew your food and speak clearly. As such, having a set of dentures not only helps you chew, it restores the appearance and function of healthy teeth, while improving your overall facial appearance.
All our denture products use advanced materials and processes that promise durability, comfort and a better fit. More importantly, they are sourced from reliable prosthetists and manufacturers that place a high premium on quality aesthetics. That means the dentures we provide look natural and realistic – almost indistinguishable from real teeth.

Dentures need to be cleaned just like regular teeth. This means that you should be cleaning your dentures day and night in order to remove food, particles, bacteria and plaque. You can purchase a mild denture cleanser from our reception staff at Face Value Dental.
A general rule of thumb for cleaning dentures is to brush, then soak and then brush again. Firstly, you should brush your dentures to remove any food particles or bacteria. Next, using a mild denture cleansing product, clean your dentures like you would normal teeth, removing stains and leaving the dentures as clean as possible. Soak your dentures in a bowl of water and then follow this up with a second scrubbing with a tooth brush.
Dentures should be stored in a safe place where they are fully submerged in water. This will keep them from warping and becoming mishapen.
Proper care will ensure that no breaks, cracks or misalignments occur to the dentures.
We offer while you wait and same day services for fixing dentures. Simply bring your Dentures in to our practice at let us know when you need them. Click here to learn more
It is common that dentures will require regular adjustment as your jaw line slowly shrinks, changes and shapes over time. As your jaw line changes shape this may cause your dentures to no longer fit. The straight forward solution is a reline of your complete or partial denture.
